   Felicia was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. After riding in Taiwan for 11 years, she went to UC Berkeley in 2008 and was further trained in the US by FEI trainers. Felicia and her horse, Touche, qualified in the US and represented Taiwan at the 2010 Asian Games. In 2012, she graduated from UC Berkeley and came back to Taiwan with her horse. When Felicia started riding again in Taiwan, she realized that there are so much to be improved here in her hometown.

 

   João was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. He started riding when he was 9. He knew that horses would be his life at a very young age, so he wasted no time and attended the professional equine school in Portugal. When he received his trainer's license at the age of 18, he started working immediately as a rider. João came to Taiwan in 2016 when his trainer, Mariette Whitages, recommended him a job opportunity. When João started his work in Taiwan, he also realized that there are so much to be improved.

   After we met, we have tried so hard to find a good home for our horses, and a good base for our work. We wanted a place where our horses can have a healthy lifestyle and calm training environment. Because we believe success is not only achieved by riding. The proper caring for horses is the secret of their well-being and performance. 

​

   We stumbled across this stable in Beitou around the end of 2020, and fell immediately in love with it, the sunset, the paddock, the set up, it's almost perfect! Now we're working hard to bring it back to life. The most amazing part of it all, is that we are able to do, everyday, what we love the most, and learn with these magical animals as they thrive in the home we found.
